A daily account health checklist for marketplace sellers
By Muhammad Awais · · 4 min read
Most account restrictions don't arrive without warning. They follow a pattern of small issues that went unnoticed for days. A short daily check, done at the same time and logged, catches most of them early.
The ten-minute routine
- Account health or shop score: note today's figure and any change
- New violations, warnings or policy notices: log each with a deadline to respond
- Orders at risk of late dispatch: chase anything close to the cut-off
- Cancellations and returns from yesterday: look for a repeated reason
- Listings suppressed, rejected or edited by the platform
- Buyer messages older than 12 hours
- Stock of hero products against expected sales
Why the log matters
A written log turns memory into evidence. When you need to appeal, you can show when an issue appeared and what you did. When a problem repeats, the log shows the pattern so you can fix the cause rather than the symptom.
Policies change: check the source
Marketplace rules change frequently. Treat this checklist as a routine, and always confirm the current requirement in your marketplace's seller help centre before acting on a notice.
